1. No Vamos A Parar (Bobby C Sound TV Remix)
2. No Vamos A Parar (DJ Clairvo Remix)
3. No Vamos A Parar (Senor Griff Remix)
4. Encanto (Farid’s Main Pass Remix)
For the third release of their label, the Empresarios’ bring us No Vamos A Parar Remixed EP. Translated to English the title is, “We’re Not Gonna Stop,” and that’s the perfect way to capture the Empresarios’ spirit and ambition. Once again, the Empresarios have assembled an all-star cast of producers to bring a fresh new vibe to their tracks.
First up is Denver’s Bobby C Sound TV, who flexes his skills on Empresarios tracks for the second time. Bobby C delivers the goods, reworking the original track into an electro-funk banger with crisp breaks, smooth builds and warped bass lines. Bobby C is an expert at remixing vocal tracks and times the lyrical drop perfectly on this remix, making it into a dancefloor monster.
One of the masterminds behind the Mustbeat Crew of Budapest, Hungary is DJ Clairvo also remixes No Vamos A Parar. A regular on both the radio and club circuit, DJ Clairvo mixes the song into an infectiously funky house groove. Pitching up the vocals and accentuating elements like percussion and guitar give this remix a unique and fresh sound.
Next up is a new addition to the Empresarios musical family, UK based Senor Griff, a longtime resident of the famous funk and soul party, Jelly Jazz. We linked up with Senor Griff while he was on an extended South American sabbatical and love the vibes he brought to his remix of No Vamos A Parar. Not altering the overall structure of the original, Senor Griff has emphasized percussion, added dubbed out effects and smooth breakbeats to great effect, this is a classy remix full of soul.
Closing out this release is Empresarios long-time friend, Farid Nouri, hailing from Washington, DC’s Eighteenth Street Lounge and Rhythm & Culture Music. Farid’s Main Pass Remix of Encanto is smooth and sultry, capturing the Tropicaliente vibe of the Empresarios. Farid’s remix brings a hot indie-dance and nu-disco sound fused with Latin beats and ready to rule dancefloors worldwide.
No Vamos A Parar! With their third release the Empresarios are not going to stop ., Especially when releasing killer remixes like these, ranging from house and funk to electro breaks. Instrumentals are available of all four remixes as well. Stay tuned for a full length album of remixes coming next from the Empresarios….
Morena Remixed EP
EMP002 – Empresarios Musica
1. Morena (Lack Jemmon Remix)
2. Morena (Dany F Remix)
3. Salsoul (Ursula 1000 Remix)
4. Salsoul (Jayl Funk Remix)
After the release of new remixes from “The Vibes” last month, the Empresarios are back at it again with another set of remixes for the DJs. This time two of the biggest tracks from the album, Morena and Salsoul, get a refresh from some incredible producers on the global stage.
First up is the huge glitch-hop remix of Morena by Lack Jemmon from Budapest, Hungary. Lack Jemmon have created a solid name for themselves in the past few years by incorporating glitched out sounds, huge build-ups followed by epic breakdowns and precisely cutting up the vocals. And this is exactly what they have delivered with their Morena remix, a massive tune that is already devastating dancefloors with its huge sound.
Not to be outdone is Dany F, hailing from Medellin, Colombia who puts his own cumbia-house spin on Morena. The steady percussion and 4/4 house beats really drive the tune, creating an irresistible groove. This remix comes in handy while DJs build their sets and establish the mood; this track oozes with South American cool.
New York City based ESL Music recording artist Ursula 1000 was also brought on board to remix Salsoul, the Empresarios modern homage to Tito Puente style salsa. And the result is incredible, Ursula 1000 reworks the track into an infectious electro house vibe, so get ready to dance! The Empresarios are stoked to have Ursula 1000 on this release and he has created an instant party anthem to get the dancefloor moving.
Closing out the second release of remixes from the Empresarios is Germany’s own funk sensation Jayl Funk. Jayl Funk has taken Salsoul’s original salsa groove and added some chunky beats and extra percussion to elevate the sound to great heights. Jayl Funk has created a modern Latin funk classic with his remix, get ready for a serious groove that you won’t even be able to sit still!
These four remixes truly have something for everybody, from house and funk to cumbia and glitch-hop. If you are a fan of global bass and funk you are going to love this package! Instrumentals of all four remixes are also available, as these tracks are destined for the dancefloor. This second set of remixes from the Empresarios are very strong, don’t sleep on these tunes.

The Vibes Remixed EP
EMP001 – Empresarios Musica
The Empresarios had a huge year in 2015, self-releasing their third studio album The Vibes, moving crowds at a number of shows and festivals plus a media tour and performances in Puerto Rico. The Empresarios are now launching their own label, Empresarios Musica, with a series of remix EPs from the 2015 album. No strangers to being remixed and remixing others, The Empresarios have tapped into their tight network of musicians and formed new collaborations while touring and performing over the last five years. Most recently linked up with Miami based, Colombian rapper Ephniko, he was featured on the album’s title track and the first remix EP.
Keeping it internationally tropicaliente, one of The Empresarios’ new connections is Athens, Greece based Balkan Riddims who are known for their global and eclectic bass infused rhythms. Balkan Riddims have spun The Vibes into a digital reggae monster with their typical booming bass and crisp beats. The original track is very strong, but this remix just takes it to new heights to crush dancefloors worldwide.
Miami-based Kinky Electric Noise was one of the first producers to ever remix The Empresarios. They are back with a super smooth remix with a deep dub vibe. Their remix of The Vibes sets the mood as synths, keyboards, and guitars all come into play. Kinky Electric Noise has stripped down the original to create a rich bed of groovy tropical sounds and then introduces the vocals in this dubbed out rendition of the song. This smooth remix will be a DJs favorite at pool parties and late night sessions.
Longtime Washington, DC producer, Desmond Williams has whipped up a dancehall remix, taking The Vibes in the opposite direction of Kinky Electric Noise. Desmond Williams showcases his decades of experience with reggae music and has pitched up the original version to create a dancehall anthem to get you moving and grooving. With production credits on albums of big names like Thievery Corporation and Midnite, Desmond Williams brings a high caliber sound to the remix.
Rounding out the release are MILK$, emerging newcomers from Washington, DC who are quickly making waves with their dope remixes. The Empresarios are stoked to feature their remix, which really captures current sounds with cut-up vocals and a minimal trap sound. MILK$ have done an impressive job of blending together Latin and reggae music, while managing to create a modern sound that will transcend genres with ease.
These four remixes are a great package ranging from dub and reggae, to dancehall, trap and global bass. Instrumentals of all four remixes are also available, as these tracks are destined for the dancefloor. The Empresarios are honored to offer such a solid first EP on their new label.
